Spring Break in Kentucky

with No Comments

There’s still time to make your spring break plans!

Consider a stay-cation, and explore more of your hometown. Or visit small towns nearby to see the hidden treasures across Kentucky. If you want an adventure, consider one of the following ideas:

EXPLORE. There are many ways to explore Kentucky, including Lost River Cave which offers Kentucky’s only underground boat tour. Take a tour with Riverside Food Tours where you will explore Northern Kentucky neighborhoods through food, or hop on Louisville Segway Tours for the most fun you can have on two wheels.

ENJOY. Kentucky is full of natural beauty and vibrant scenery, and offers many ways to enjoy it – at one of 49 Kentucky State Parks, each with unique features, or at Breaks Interstate Park, the “Grand Canyon of the South”. Yew Dell Gardens and Bernheim Arboretum & Research Forest provide the opportunity for you to “connect with nature”.

LEARN. The history of Kentucky is all around. Learn about famous Kentuckians at Locust Grove and Mary Todd Lincoln House. Don’t forget to stop by the Kentucky Horse Park to celebrate and learn about Man o’ War, the world’s most famous racehorse.

EXPERIENCE. “Get in touch with your inner animal” at the Louisville Zoo, experience “fun for the whole family” at Kart Kountry, and encounter “thrills for everyone” at Kentucky Kingdom & Hurricane Bay.

Learn about a new destination, explore the outdoors, experience new adventures, and enjoy a nearby getaway. Don’t forget to share your adventures with us using #KYTravel!
