Monkey’s Eyebrow is located in Ballard County, just east of the Ballard County Wildlife Management Area, on Route 473 aka Monkey’s Eyebrow Road.
It’s hard to know when you’re in Monkey’s Eyebrow, it’s easier to tell when you’re not. You might have driven straight through it and not known, especially since there is no highway marker. There are no city limits to Monkey’s Eyebrow, and the boundaries seem to expand regularly. Monkey’s Eyebrow contains houses scattered among corn, wheat and soybean fields; the business and residential community is no more.
Monkey’s Eyebrow shows up on some Kentucky state maps. Look to the western end of Kentucky, bounded by the Ohio River. It looks similar to the profile of a monkey’s face; where the eyebrow would be is where Monkey’s Eyebrow is located.
